The book 'The Hidden Thread: Russia and South Africa in the Soviet Era' (Cape Town: Jonathan Ball, 2013) by Professors Irina Filatova and Apollon Davidson received the first prize as the best Enligsh non-fiction book from South African Media24. This is the main book prize in South Africa, and therefore is quite prestigious.

‘We’ve Suggested Some New Hypotheses on Medieval History’
